Mouse Surprise

Here is the finished painting for my bug’s eye view study (the evolution of this one is described here and here). This turned out to be one of my favorite pieces. I’m not sure if it’s the slightly unusual angle, or just that I’ve always found little furry critters irresistible.

I keep wondering, though…what do you suppose that mouse is thinking?

oh yeah, that just might be too sweet for words! love the angle of the view ... personally, I think the little mouse is thinking "hmmm ... I thought I smelled cheese". :)

"Looks like a nice beaver," or wait, that was Narnia. Um... I mean, "He looks like a nice human."

Sweet, sweet painting. I think the mouse is saying, "...and that's how you can make yourself small."

Maybe "I'll guard my strawberries and sweet peas to the death..." What else does a mouse nibble on?

Very nice! I read Stuart Little over and over as a child.

Fantastic Picture……!!!!!

I have a little mouse that is living in the donkey pen…
Cute, but I wish he would move on, but he is better
then the snake that was there a few years ago.

I like it!

The mouse is thinking,
"Hey, a new friend!" or
"Eeek, a human!" or
"What a strange looking plant." or
"There goes the neighborhood." or
"He better not be looking at me."
"I always wanted a human for a pet."

or maybe I should stop now ;)

Thanks for sharing! Sorry I got carried away.
