In a Word

I was tagged by Melissa with this fun meme. Just in time, too. I’ve been so full of turkey and pie I haven’t thought of a thing to blog about.

Since the challenge is to give a one word response to the questions, I thought it would be a refreshing change of pace for writers who just participated in NaNoWriMo. So first I’ll tag Rena, Christy, and Stephanie. And because I know she appreciates the spare poetry style of Cinquain, I’ll tag Kelly, too.

Here are my answers:

Where is your cell phone? purse

Where is your significant other? garage
Your hair color? brown
Your mother? crocheted
Your father? checkmates
Your favorite thing? critters
Your dream last night? yoga
Your dream/goal? published
The room you’re in? red
Your hobby? flowers
Your fear? time
Where do you want to be in 6 years? coast
Where were you last night? bookstore
What you’re not? hungry
One of your wish-list items? camera
Where you grew up? Virginia
Last thing you did? rearranged
What are you wearing? verbena
Your TV? small
Your pet? unruly
Your computer? busy
Your mood? amused
Missing someone? Mom
Your car? pawprints
Something you’re not wearing? shoes
Favorite store? aromatic
Your summer? sandy
Love someone? many
Your favorite color? changes
When is the last time you laughed? Elf
Last time you cried? bills

As long as the holidays are upon us, I’m curious about this one…what items are on your wish-list?

Thanks for the cute tag, Adrienne! I'll do that this week!
I LOVE Elf, too! Too funny!

I enjoyed reading your answers.

I think I am the last person on earth who doesn’t own a cell phone..
My kids each have one and I pay their bill…my reason is so that I can always get a hold of them. But we have pockets that get no cell service and guess where my kids are most of the time.
Yep, in those pockets.

Fun! Thanks for the tag! I like the one word answers, although some of the questions were a bit vague (like your mother and your father).

Books are big on my wish list. Art supplies too :)

On my wish list? Books. And maybe a new cell phone though that's very much up for debate.

Suzie - That's what the home phone is for - locating the cell phone!

Kelly - My current favorite holiday movie :-)

Louise - I've had one only a little over a year...I held out as long as I could!

Sruble - some of them are vague...I took it to mean you could interpret them however (probably obvious by some of the strange answers)

PJ - Amazing what new cell phones daughter's is much nicer than mine!

Very telling--especially the dream!
I wish for my cold to leave and for my entire family to have a HEALTHY winter! A wavemaster would also be nice.

Thanks for the tag! I liked seeing your answers and I'll add mine tomorrow probably.

As for my wish list -- books! There are quite a few of those I'd like this year. And a new stapler before I throw mine in front of a train. I'm easy to please, but don't have much patience. ;)

We have the same dream/goal :-)

Green Girl - Dang...I hope your cold goes away, too!

Rena - I always want books, too...I could really use a little more shelf space, come to think of it!

Kim - Here's hoping it comes true for us both :)

On my wish list? More time before the holidays. I just looked at my to-do list and almost fainted.

Cute meme.

Don't tell Hazel, but I'm wanting a new crockpot...not one to take her place, but one to help her out...

Gift certificates for books and clothes...

Happy Holidays!
