Here is the painting inspired by my very silly Owl-o-ween Tale. I think Winona Screech and friend Jemima Snow are doing their best to be brave trick-or-treaters, but Winona’s baby brother Ewing does not look convinced.
I have to thank everyone for putting the idea for the fun illustration in my head. When I first dreamt up the idea of an owl in a pineapple costume, I had no intention of painting it!
Adrienne -- Are you currently subbing this one? OMGosh, it's so adorable! We'd buy it in a heartbeat! My boys are totally into birds and anything bird related. Looks like a fun story, so good luck with it!
Rena - I'm glad you like it! Actually, I don't have a PB manuscript for this one. It started as a fun writing exercise to go with a photo I took, which later inspired the illustration. I'm fond of these characters, too, so maybe I will try to develop it. Thanks for your thoughts!
