Possum Poses

These are a few doodles I made while working on my picture book dummy. I managed to get to my first goal, which was to finish my manuscript and send it for a critique at a local conference coming in February. I’m hoping to get a dummy finished before the conference, so I can include it in my portfolio. I still have plenty of scribbling to do…

He's cute! Does he have a name?
We once had a possum in our yard and our dogs chased it out. It got stuck under our fence! So all we could see was the possum butt sticking out of the fence! We felt bad for him! He did get free eventually!

That is what I saw in my garage!
I thought it was a rat, but just a possum instead!

You're so talented!
I'm glad to see a possum that's not a little flat and by the side of the road!
Very cute!

Oh, I love these! We had opposums in our yard in CA all the time. Such funny animals. They're not native in MT though, so it's been over 2 years since I've seen one. I wish you the best of luck with your book, Adrienne!

I wish I could doodle like that!

But I've never seen a possum that looked like that - she is WAAAAY too cute. Possums are not pretty and she definitely is :)

These are wonderful! I particularly like the last one of him holding his tail.

I love possums, and those drawings are cute! I love rats too. Are we really in the minority?

Sruble - Thanks...I think I have about five pages to go. I'm starting to think I might make it in time :)

Mary - I think we are...but there's always hope for reform!
