...made up entirely of picture book titles (the last one can be found here).
This is what happens when I spend too long in the picture book section of the library. It inspired a new illustration, too.
Rainstorm
Raindrop, Plop!
This is the Rain
Rain
Love, Splat
Tick-Tock, Drip Drop
The Rain Came Down
Rainstorm
Up
High in the Clouds
Shadows and Reflections
Terrible, Terrible!
Clang Boom Bang!
What’s Up, What’s Down?
Achoo! Bang! Crash!
Ker-Splash!
Monsoon
Roar!
Now What Can I Do?
In My Heart
A Blue So Blue
Close Your Eyes
Make a Wish
Just a Minute
I Can Hear the Sun
Peace at Last
The Gift of Nothing
A Rainbow All Around
Rise and Shine
Let’s Go Home

Very cool! Love the picture, too. Again, great stuff!
OMG, it's like you just wrote a picture book! So cool!
I love the rain - have to - living in Portland
Nice!! :)
Ooh- very nice! The little foxes are wonderful. I wonder what adventure the rainstorm interrupted?
As always a feast for the eyes. Loved the little foxes.
what a fun inspiration for poetry! But I like the picture best. Foxes are always cute in my book.
That would be a great writing prompt --
Yes, the fox pair is adorable, especially when paired with the puddle.
Love the poem and the pic...Hugs...
I'd sit in the picture book section all day long if I could come up with that! Great poem and pic!
These are so cool!
Fun poem (and a good reminder to just sit in the library and peruse the books again).
And love the illustration!!
Ah, lovely. And I love the little foxes sheltering from the storm.
That poem is too cool. Amazing that the titles fit so well and told their own story!
I LOVE your foxes. I really do.
love the cute pic
Lovely pair of foxes. Oooh, he looks a little shivery too!
Your PB title poems are really great, and I LOVE your little foxes in the rain. They are so cute! (It looks like pastel, is it?
Stephanie - It's acrylic, but the way I paint with it, it often comes out looking like pastel.
I love pastel - hate the dust. :)
Cool that it's acrylic! BTW, I feel the same way about pastel that you do, which is why I never use it.
Know what you mean about the dust. I wear a mask.
Lovely colourful fox cubs.
